Launch an online academy to keep training programs on track

Switch from in-person sessions to live webinars quickly and easily with add-on technology platform.

The coronavirus has for now put an end to most in-person training events. For companies that sell complex solutions, where training is an integral part of new implementations and ongoing support, or organizations that provide professional development and certifications, live training webinars are a compelling option.

Switching your in-person sessions to live webinars offers a way to keep your training programs up and running, supporting your customers and potentially opening up new revenue streams.

Sell and manage training programs online

Provided via an online academy, live webinars offer a flexible, scalable way to manage training programs, and even expand them to new audiences. In recent weeks, we’ve developed a range of online platforms for organizations to sell and manage their training programs online.

Based on WordPress, WooCommerce (an e-commerce module for WordPress) and Mollie (payment provider), these platforms can be added on to your website, creating an e-commerce shop through which you can deliver live (or recorded) webinars, and manage everything from payment to course scheduling.

For a customer in the energy sector, for example, we built a platform so they could quickly shift their in-person training programs for engineers to online webinars.

Curious to see how
we put this into practice?

In this case we made an online academy for healthcare professionals, built entirely in WordPress. Concept, design, web development, video editing and ongoing support by Living Stone.

Promote training sessions on LinkedIn

By promoting the training sessions on LinkedIn, they reached a wide audience, and are now expanding the online program to include different time zones and locales. While the restrictions of coronavirus were the impetus for the shift to online training, the expanded reach – and scalability – of the online platform has opened up new opportunities for the organization.

Whatever technology you use for your website, we can help put together a platform so you can connect with your audiences, to provide online training, webinars or even status updates.

Pushed by the restrictions of the pandemic, we’re finding new ways to reach out and communicate with each other. We’d be glad to talk with you about ways you can connect with your audiences. As a B2B marketing agency that focuses on healthcare marketing alongside engineering and IT, we put a lot of effort into content marketing. Strong storytelling and credible content creation are two powerful tools to inform and engage patients, doctors or other stakeholders.

Should you add an influencer to your B2B marketing mix?

Do you need an influencer to promote your B2B product or service? If you’re thinking of celebrity influencers like Lewis Hamilton or one of the Kardashians, the answer is probably no. But if you’re thinking of an influential person in your industry, or a top subject-matter expert, it’s something to consider, as it can add value and new dimensions to your marketing programs.

The future looks good for (AI) chatbots

If you visited a website recently, you likely interacted with a chatbot. Whether they’re ‘smart’ (powered by generative AI), ‘simple’ (rule-based), or a mix of both, chatbots are now ubiquitous across all types of websites. And this popularity is going to grow – according to market intelligence company Mordor, the chatbot market will reach $102 billion USD by 2026. And according to research firm Gartner, by 2027 chatbots will be the main customer service channel for approximately 25% of companies. In a press released issued by Gartner, Uma Challa, Sr. Director Analyst at Gartner, commented: “Chatbots and virtual customer assistants (VCAs) have evolved over the past decade to become a critical technology component of a service organization’s strategy. When designed correctly, chatbots can improve customer experience and drive positive customer emotion at a lower cost than live interactions.”
